Healthcare Initiatives
Access to basic healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet millions in underprivileged communities are deprived of it. At Believe in Humanity Trust, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of marginalized populations by providing affordable, accessible, and preventive healthcare services. Our healthcare initiatives focus on awareness, early intervention, and direct medical support, especially for vulnerable groups like the elderly, women, and children.
Key Highlights of Our Healthcare Initiatives:
We organize regular health camps in slums, rural areas, and low-income communities. These camps offer general health check-ups, BP and sugar testing, eye screenings, and referrals to hospitals for further treatment when required.
The Trust also conducts specialized camps such as dental camps, eye check-up and cataract detection, and women’s health clinics, often in partnership with hospitals, clinics, and volunteer doctors. Cataract surgeries and spectacles are also provided for free to needy patients.
In many cases, patients cannot afford even basic medications. We distribute free medicines to poor patients, especially the elderly and those with chronic illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis.
Awareness is a powerful tool. We conduct health awareness sessions on topics like personal hygiene, nutrition, menstrual health, maternal care, immunization, and lifestyle diseases. These sessions are especially targeted at women and adolescent girls.
Many senior citizens live without family support and suffer from untreated illnesses. We provide them with home visits, medical check-ups, emotional support, and link them to proper care facilities when needed.
